Once baked in its shell, it is cracked open to provide you with your evenly cooked beets scented with orange yet not salty in the least. Combi, Shmombi. But I'd love to have a combi oven don't get me wrong.
Then just pick the beets from the shell, rub the skins off with a towel and slice to see the beauty inside!
Yum!
